The variegated Albo Melo Alocasia is a rare form of Alocasia Melo Albo known for its thick, textured “dragon scale” leaves with creamy white variegation. It grows slower than regular Melo because the white sections contain less chlorophyll, so stable care is important.

Light

• Bright indirect light is best.
• Avoid harsh direct sun — white variegated areas burn easily.
• East-facing windows or filtered south light work well.
• If leaves get darker or lose variegation, increase light slightly.

Water

• Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy.
• Water when the top 1–2 inches feel dry.
• Use filtered, distilled, or rain water if possible since Alocasias can react to hard tap water.
